Fundraising
The Hall has an established fundraising programme to support its operating and maintenance costs and to allow for refurbishment and modernisation of the one hundred year old buildings. Our aim is create a vibrant community centre that can truly claim to be the beating heart of our village
There are three main strands to this programme:
Events – such as feature films, concerts, craft fairs and markets, dinner dances, dramatic performances, live music gigs, music bingo and quizzes.
Easyfundraising – A simple way to help the Hall, at no cost to you, when you shop on-line.
100Club – for £60 a year (half of which goes to the Refurbishment Fund) you have three chances to win each month.
Our Next Venture – MAKING AN ENTRANCE
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a welcoming, modern entrance to the Village Hall — a space that truly reflects the vibrant programme of live entertainment, films, classes, and community activities taking place inside. Although the Hall has benefitted from significant investment in recent years, particularly in modern technology, the current entrance simply doesn’t showcase the quality of what we offer.
A new glass‑fronted extension will transform the reception area into a bright, spacious, and accessible hub for everyone, including visitors with reduced mobility. It will also enable us to refurbish the toilet facilities, improve security, and enhance the Hall’s overall energy efficiency. Most importantly, it will better highlight everything available to the community of North Ferriby and our neighbouring villages.
Planning permission is already in place — now we just need the funding to bring this exciting project to life. Please let us know how YOU can support this important improvement for our community.
