Our plan
Our plan is to create an inviting and attractive new entrance to the Village Hall which encourages the community to enjoy the fabulous array of live entertainment, films, and activities which take place in the various rooms. The current entrance does not reflect the quality of the Hall’s offer, which has benefitted in recent years from investment in modern technology.
A glass fronted extension will create a larger, light and airy reception, and allow the refurbishment of the toilet area. It will allow easy access for all, including those with reduced mobility, and enhance the security and energy efficiency of the Hall. And it will better showcase all that is on offer for the community of North Ferriby and the surrounding villages.
Planning permission has been secured – we just need the money to make it happen!!
Riding the Wolds
The first of the Making an Entrance fundraising efforts involves six local Lycra-clad lads undertaking a 158 mile cycle ride over three days commencing 6th July. Leaving North Ferriby Village Hall, they will journey to Easingwold, North Yorkshire on day one, travel to Bridlington on day two, and return to Ferriby on day three. This is no mean feat for the super six, and our thanks go to the Riding the Wolds Team.
